Our aim is to help scientists at USP and beyond to do their research as effective and economically as possible, using high quality reagents and tools.
We hope to build a collection of plasmids, protocols and methods to enable scientists across biomedical and molecular biology fields to do their research faster and better. We also hope this initiative will facilitate teaching and training at USP, at all levels.
We will work in the spirit of openness, ensuring wide and unrestricted access to as large part of our collection as is possible (with some restriction depending on the source of the materials). This is very much in the spirit of Reclone Network, where we form hub and whose materials we have a collection of locally.
We do not see this as an exercise for us only, but hope to engage the wider community in this effort, bringing together resources from different scientists and research groups at USP, to share these resources and disseminate best practice in their use.
