DNA Molecular weight markers

Description

DNA molecular weight markers, also known as DNA ladders, are used to compare the size of DNA fragments run on electrophoresis gels with fragments of known sizes.

We have plasmids for producing both 100 bp and 1 kb DNA ladders, by digestion with common restriction enzymes.

Protocol summary

Digest the plasmids with the restriction enzymes in the protocol, and check the digestion by running agarose gels. Then, dilute them as recommended.
